Our story began in 2014 when Oluwatobi Fagbohungbe launched his tech career as a Software Tester at Konga Online Shopping Ltd. During his time there, his passion for growth led him to learn automation and other testing skills — but more than that, he started informally training his colleagues, sharing what he had learned.  

That spirit of giving back sparked something deeper. By 2017, Oluwatobi began offering free training sessions to friends and aspiring testers, laying the foundation for a bigger vision.

In 2017, that vision evolved into Netow Solutions, a software testing training and consulting firm based in Egbeda, Lagos. In 2019 Netow Solutions was co-founder alongside Mr Samuel Obodeh, Netow organized hands-on training programs, webinars, and workshops, helping young professionals break into the world of QA.

Over the years, Netow played a vital role in shaping some of Nigeria’s top software testers — a community built on passion, excellence, and mentorship.

In 2023, Netow Solutions rebranded into QaceTech to reflect its broader focus: Testing-as-a-Service, training, and staff augmentation. But Oluwatobi’s deep passion for education called for more.

To give education its own spotlight, the training arm was spun off into Qace Academy — a dedicated platform to train, inspire, and support the next generation of testers and tech professionals

By 2024, Qace Academy took shape as a fully independent brand. We launched CSR programs, tech workshops in secondary schools and universities, and entered Rwanda through partnerships like African Leadership University.

In the same year, QaceTech, in partnership with Qace Academy, hosted TestForge 1.0, our flagship testing event.

We didn’t just rebrand — we realigned with purpose, focusing on education, community, and opportunity.

2025 marks our year of expansion.

In Q1, we piloted CSR programs to train young people in other areas of tech — and the impact was clear.
In Q2, we’re scaling up: launching new departments, more courses, and our online learning platform with both free and paid content, designed to reach learners across Africa and beyond.

Qace Academy is now Africa’s first software testing school, and we’re growing into other tech domains.
From corporate training to talent development, we proudly collaborate with our sister company, QaceTech, to deliver real-world impact.
